There was once a child who grew up very poor.  He lived in South Africa with his parents and sister. One morning Tristan had a silly fight with his best friend Liam. About who was the better footballer. It all started out on yard Liam and Tristan were on the same team but Liam seen how good Tristan was doing so he tried to do just as good as Tristan. Then Tristan seen how good Liam was doing but while Tristan and Liam were trying to out do each other no one wanted to play on Tristan or Liam's team because they wanted to run the whole pitch and score without passing. So Mr Dorgan seen what was going on and said Liam And Tristan can't play football in school. It was my worst nightmare come true

Dragons and Magicians by Sunshine

Once upon a time there were two kings in two beautiful kingdoms. The first was a magician. He was the king of all magicians. He was called Sleight Hand. The second king was a dragon. he was the king of all the dragons. His name was Odd-Eyes. They were best friends so the magicians and dragons were friends too. But all this change when Odd-Eyes had a child. It was a gorgeous female dragon named Nyx. Even as a whelp she acted like an adult. When Nyx grew up she was very intelligent, but there was only one thing wrong with her. She thought that magicians were too weak to be the dragon’s allies. So one day she stole one of her dad’s crystal balls and hid it under Sleight Hand’s throne. The next day Odd-Eyes got the dragons to look for his crystal ball. Eventually Dowser his right hand man found it. He told him he found it under Sleight Hand’s throne. Odd-Eyes got really mad at Sleight Hand. And that started a war between the dragons and the magicians. And after the war they both went to different lands. Further down the line the dragons and the magician realised they couldn’t survive without each other. Because the dragons needed the magicians to grow food with their magic and the magicians needed the dragon to use their fire the warm the food. Nyx with all her intelligence knew she had to tell her dad what she did. Odd-Eyes forgave her but she had to apologise to Sleight Hand. When she apologised to Sleight Hand he forgave her because he was a reasonable man. And thats how the dragons and magicians became friend again.

It was a beautiful day.It was a Sunday morning so we had mass.We all got ready, but when we were going to go my 2 sisters got into a fight and they were fighting over a hairbrush and locked their door.My mom said ‘go on the roof and get them’.But my dad said ‘Let’s just go and go and leave them’.But my mom wasn’t having it.They went into their room and started to fight to. I went on to the roof and went through the window and told them to stop fighting. We went to mom and dad and they came out. We were all sorry and we were late for mass.

Christmas Day match by Shane

It's Christmas Day and I’m sick of all the fighting. Yesterday the fighting was bad and I lost a lot of friends. I can't help but wonder if I’ll be next. I can't see any end to this war. I got a present of a football yesterday from home but where do they think I can kick a ball around here? The only place is up top in no man’s land, but you’d be crazy to go up there. Or would you? What if I did go up and make peace even for a couple of hours. We could have a game of footie with the Germans and a chat. Well, here goes…

The friends who made peace by Sean

There was once two friends who hated each other, there name were Jack and Paul. Everyday they would call each other names and fight. They gave each other bruises and black eyes. Everyone was giving out because they couldn't get through one day without  ‘ahhh Paul kicked me’ or ‘ahhh what's Jack doing kicking me’. Then everyone had a brilliant idea. There idea was to be Nasty to Paul and Jack so then they would have no other choice than to make friends but it took a long long time more than anyone expected. They still had fights and name calling. They then had the best idea they ever had. They both got a text to go to Daniel's house they both went but they were surprised when they got there. They got soaked with water balloons and guns, they were both so annoyed. Then they made a deal. The deal was that Jack and Paul would make friends. Jack and Paul shook hands and were best friends ever since.

I am Bob Peace. I come from Celtland. In fact, I am the President of Celtland. Let me tell you about peace. My mission in life is to help the world coexist in this war-ridden time. Let me also tell you about The Sakrines. They are a terrorist group from Romland. One day, five years ago, they took an office block hostage. They told me that I had to pay them 2,000,000 Bils (their national currency) or they would shoot the hostages. I had no means of getting that much money, so I decided to try and make peace with them. I was fluent in Romish so I asked why they were doing this. Their leader, Brij, told me that their families were very poor. I told him that, if they wished, they could reside in Celtland. He was shocked, but readily agreed. A short while later, the hostages came came running out, into the open arms of their loved ones. The Sakrines followed shortly after. I placed them all in jail for six months, but after that they all were free to make a living in Celtland.

 War by Nicolas

As a child, you think it is all happy and fun, but here in Syria its war. My name is Nicolas and I live in Syria, a war-torn country. I used to live in a hut in the town, But a lot of things changed. They took my father and killed my sister, now the only people that I have are my mother and my brother. We had to escaped from the town since attacks were happening every day. One day the ISIS came to the countryside to find all the people that were hiding. We had to escape to a different country, otherwise we would die. My mother had to bring us to a meeting for people that had to escape the country. The people that were leading the meeting put us all onto small boats. They were all crowded and uncomfortable. The boat started  sailing away from the beach. Some people were falling off the boats and some people were sick, we were being squashed be other people in the middle of the boat. A few days later everyone was starving, some people were dead. After a few days in the sea we arrived on the border of Greece. Some people put us in a truck. In the truck we heard engines starting. It was pitch black and I was holding my mothers hand. After a few hours i felt a weird feeling in my lungs, I was suffocating.

The Silence by Mary

I woke up this morning and it was quiet, so quiet. It has been like this ever since the start of the war between me and my twin sister  Poppy, the silent war. We haven't spoke to each other in weeks apart from the occasional “Pass the salt.” It has been so long that I can't even remember what we are angry at each other for. I want us to go back to the way we used to be, friends. I got up and looked across to Poppy’s bed she was up already. I leaned across to my bed side table to get my glasses. There was something beside my glasses I put them on and on my bedside table there was a cupcake. It was had pink icing and a malteser on top, my favourite. There was a note beside it and it said “from Poppy.” It was a silent but a strong sign of peace.

One sunny evening in South Africa a war had began on Boulder Beach. The American army was fighting against the South Africans. I was with the Americans. It was a terrible day. There was so many people dead or seriously injured. There was blood everywhere. There was kids as young as seven in the South African army and of course we didn’t want to shoot them so we could do nothing. We could see that the kids were scared, they were trembling, some of them were struggling to hold the gun. Then I seen a young kid aiming his gun at one of our men so I had to do it, I had to shoot. He dropped to the ground but I could tell he wasn’t dead so I ran, ran across the battlefield to get to the kid so I could get him some help. When I got to him I could see he had lost a lot of blood so I picked him up and got back to the doctor as quick as I could. But on the way back I was hit in the knee and fell to the ground. So one of my friends came to help me and he called for another soldier to come and help the kid. When we got back to the doctor the kid sadly died and I was bandaged up. The kids funeral was a few days later and I went to pay my respects.
